Strength Week 1
Be strong in the Lord
Psalm 18:1-5
“I love you, Lord, my strength.
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
“I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies. The cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me.
Isaiah 40:29–31
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Ephesians 6:10-11
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
Growth Week 2
Grow in the grace
Luke 2:52
And Jesus kept on growing - In wisdom. In physical stature. In favor with God. And in favor with others.
2 Peter 3:18
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. AMEN.
Ephesians 4:15
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
